Notes from the Head Teacher

Thanks to the planning of Mrs Oliphant Year 5 and 6 had a ‘safety day ‘yesterday which was led by the police. There were a range of activities and competitions. Zach Garby in Year 6 was delighted to win a BMX Mongoose bike. There were also 5 other lucky winners who received a selection of cycling accessories.
I was thrilled that the visiting police staff all commented on how polite our pupils were.

Notes of a Headteacher

Dear all

Great news that the sun is shining as we enter our final week of tests at Dorchester Middle school. This is particularly important as work is starting on our roof and part of the playground is out of action. The fine weather enables us to play on the grass.

I enjoyed a spectacular ‘Chalk Legend production’ on Saturday evening it was quite an experience. It was delightful to hear of our athletes success over the week end.The year 7 team had a very close match against Sunninghill last night losing by only 4 runs

We had a successful PTA meeting last night. We are going to try running a bar at the Bingo on Friday night and at the Summer Fair .
